I'm working as part of a marketing team and am very new to Umbraco. One of the projects we're working on is adding transcripts to our podcast releases.
Of all the options i think a popup overlay looks neatest, as shown when clicking the "read transcript" option at the link below.
Umbraco is very powerful and easy to extend for developers. Although there are lots of great plugins, you probably won't find one for launching a popup.
It seems like you'd have to code this up yourself.
How you'd go about it really depends on the existing site and what JavaScript/CSS frameworks (if any) it's using.
