Apologies if this doesn't belong here, but I've noticed that the description of my website in google search is completely wrong and misleading.
Does anyone know how to rectify the problem?
This is my personal website and home for information about my music and has nothing to do with hockey jerseys.
The description comes from the meta description tag. If no meta description tag can be found search engines will start reading text from the page. Set the description tag like this: https://moz.com/learn/seo/meta-description
(Ps. When you change this tag it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks before your site is re-indexed. If you have google webmaster tools you can speed up this process by telling Google to re-index your site now.)
