    Convert old web forms site to Umbraco

    Hi I am new to Umbraco and need to know if the following is possible? We have a large existing 'visual basic static' site in asp.net using web forms with no CMS and coded as a 'web site' (not an application). Could someone outline how this could be incorporated into an Umbraco 7 solution if at all?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi David and welcome to our :-),

    You can´t just wrap your current website into Umbraco CMS, but you could build up using Umbraco CMS.

    A good starting point would be to have a look at Umbraco TV. https://umbraco.tv/videos/umbraco-v7/

    Here you will find videos that shows the basic concepts of Umbraco CMS. Some of the videos are free to watch and some requires that you subscribe to the service.

    But this should give you a good idea on how Umbraco works.
