    dev system requirements

    Hello again,

    I noticed that in some online documentation Umbraco calls for Windows 7 SP1 for a local dev environment. Is it safe to use Windows 10 Pro? Can I run Webmatrix bug free under this as well? Thanks!

    not using Webmatrix but VS under Win 10Pro and not had any difficulties until now,

    Hi Domenic,

    same here, Windows 10 Pro with VS 2013 Community edition without any problems.

    Thanks Michaël! I really like VS 2013 Community edition. I was running it previously under Win 7 Pro 64-bit but we have a Mac here at work doing nothing and I figured I would drop a virtualized instance of Win 10 on it for .NET/Umbraco dev. For the record I love Macs and own many. ;)
