    Cannot run Umbraco CMS in IIS

    Hi all,

    I have download the Umbraco from website and try to run it from Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager but no success. I don't know how to start to solve this issue, or Umbraco cannot run on localhost by IIS? Here are steps I have done:

    1. Download and unzip Umbraco in folder "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Umbraco": enter image description here

    2. Create an application for Umbraco in IIS: enter image description here

    3. Run Umbraco in Browser: enter image description here

    4. The error message from Browser: enter image description here

    It stop here and I don't know how to solve this issue. I want to run Umbraco on localhost using IIS from Windows. Could you help me with this?

    Hi Nguyen,

    Why did you create your site under the "Default Web Site"?

    You need to create separate site near the "Default Web Site".
