Just setup a new installation of Umbraco 7.5.3 and I'm trying to uninstall the Umbraco Forms package but every time I do I just get the error " Server error: Contact administrator, see log for full details.
Failed to uninstall package"
Looking in the log file I can see the error:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\UmbracoCms.7.5.3\App_plugins\umbracoForms\version'
I've checked that the file exists but is this a problem with the plugin or with Umbraco?
I'm currently running the site in IIS Express from Visual Studio, but I've tried a few more plugins and they install and uninstall fine, its just the forms plugin that won't uninstall.

Can you check folder permissions on your installation?
Should be like that: https://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/files-and-folders/permissions/
