    The view found at '~/Views/HomePage.cshtml' was not created. when two website are pointing to same fold

    Hi,

    I have issue in setting up new website in IIS, the website worked fine when I was working with test url and when I am trying to configure the same files for another website it is not working, I am able to login to admin panel but main website is showing the error view was not created.

    version:UmbracoCms.7.5.6

    any suggestions.

    I have having this problem too. Worked fine yesterday, but not today. Don't know why.

    Hi,

    Umbraco is not designed to run multiple IIS websites that point to the same directory where you have installed Umbraco.

    You will run in to multiple issues (file locks for example).

    Why do you want to point 2 differen IIS websites to the same directory ?
