    Rollback umbraco upgrade

Hi We have lost a lot of data (and members?) maybe because of an upgrade to 7.6.2.

Is it possible to roll back to the prior version? Maybe to an specific date?

    /MB

    Hi M.Better.

    Im sorry to hear that.

No, I dont think you can rollback a complete umbraco upgrade. On the upgrade page, Umbraco prints clearly that you should always do backups of your solution and database before upgrading so that you can return to a version that you know works. https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/upgrading/general#warning

Has this site been live or just locally? If it's been live, you should have database backups. All servers should take at least one nighly backup of DB:s, so if its only data you've lost then you could ask your server admin for a backup and restore.

Have you checked your database that the data is actually missing or if its just not showing? I've done a few upgrades but I've never lost any data so this is news to me.

Also, maybe one option would be to restore your computer to a previous backup/date? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17119/windows-7-recover-lost-deleted-files

    Thank you Sir!

I have a guy look at it, and data is still in the DB.

I think he will try at sort out our problem.
