    Version 4.x.x Security Updates

    Hi there,

    In the release notes for 4.11.10 (https://our.umbraco.org/contribute/releases/41110/) you state:

    Umbraco 4.11.10 is the last version of Umbraco 4. If necessary we'll release security updates for it but there will be no new active development on Umbraco 4.

    Can you confirm if this is still true? I.e., if a vulnerability was found in version 4.x.x, would you still issue a patch for it?

    Make sure to read: https://umbraco.com/security

    It states:

    When critical security bugs are found we patch all of the versions that we can, even going back to very old versions to help you stay safe

    So yeah, if we find something critical we will do anything we can to keep you safe. It might be some additional dll you need to add or an upgrade if at all possible.
