Examples /case study of Umbraco being used for very large company?

    Hi All,

Can anyone point me the direction of examples or case studies of large corporations (especially e-commerce) that are using Umbraco?

We have a client who wants justification by example of Umbraco being a suitable platform for their new website.

    Thanks, Tim.

You can find a bunch of examples on my personal portfolio website: http://www.nicholaswestby.com/

Celestron does a bit of e-commerce. Also, there's no e-commerce, but these two sites run Umbraco (the same instance, actually):

BTW, I had built IGT.com with Umbraco years ago, but it has since moved to a new CMS (Sitecore, IIRC).

The agency I work for has also worked on a great many more Umbraco websites. You can see case studies here (vast majority are built on Umbraco): http://rhythmagency.com/our-work

Here in Brazil I worked on a site in Umbraco 6 that was large. It used load balance and had 40 servers.

I have an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) with them. I can only divulge this and that is the travel industry. I can not name the direct name and nor links.

    Umbraco + uCommerce:

    Reebok: https://reebokwork.com/

    Martin Guitar: https://www.martinguitar.com/

    Lindberg : https://lindberg.com/

Bath Norway : https://www.bad.no/ (huge ecommerce solution)

Danish red cross is umbraco: https://www.rodekors.dk/

Umbraco is becoming the favorite choice of CMS at many agencies, it's growing at extreme pace at the moment.
