    Upgrading From 7.2.8 to 7.6.4

If I'm upgrading manually from 7.2.8 to 7.6.4, do I have to follow the version specific steps for each version in between? I noticed there are no version specific steps for 7.6.4, so I don't want to miss anything when doing this.

    Hi Adam

    There are version specific changes for 7.6 and 7.6.3, 7.4, 7.3 - https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/upgrading/version-specific

    Thanks,

    Alex

Okay, so I do need to ensure I follow all of the in-between steps as well. Thanks!

    Hi Adam,

I have just upgraded my website from 7.2.8 to 7.5, planning on upgrading to 7.6.4 as well.

    I upgraded doing the following:

    7.2.8 to 7.3.0 7.3.0 to 7.4.0 7.4.0 to 7.5.0

I didn't have to make any changes with these upgrades, Nuget took care of everything.

Upgrading to 7.6.4 is a bit harder as there are breaking changes so ensure you have both database and codebase backup.

    Thanks, Lewis

I just tried to upgrade to 7.3.0 - updated the files and uploaded them but now I get a 500 Internal Server Error (instead of getting the installer). Any suggestions?
