Hi,
We are using Umbraco 7.7.2 and our client needs the Paste from Word feature. Has this been removed from the Rich Text Editor?
Is there a way to get it back - I have seen a few posts but none seem to work. Is there a step by sep guide to how to add this feature back in?

You should be able to activate it by editing the settings on the data type?
You might also have to add the option to the /config/tinyMce.config-file.

Hi, I did follow those instructions before and it didnt work - I was expecting a pop up to appear but it never did anything.
7.7.2 seems to be using TinyMCE V3
Okey, so the button appears but it does not work? Any errors? Did you look in the umbraco-folder? Maybe they don't include the code for the "paste from word"-plugin?
You could try pasting withctrl+shift+v instead of ctrl+v. That "should" strip out formatting and tags.

RTE - Paste from Word?
Hi,
