    Mixing AD and Non-AD Users

    I'd like to have some 'admin' users who have active directory accounts, but also have some non-ad users who have significantly less access.

    Is this something Umbraco supports 'out-of-the-box'?

    I don't think it's totally out of the box, but is possible to add on to.

    I only did a prototype so I'm not sure if there are any gotchas, but as I remember, it worked so users had the option of either AD or username/password. The permissions were all managed in the CMS to be whatever you wanted.
