Using Umbraco 7 backend via mobile phones and tablets

The Umbraco system requirements state that Umbraco 7.x.x.x is compatible with the latest Chrome and Firefox browsers, plus IE10+.
Even though I am able to connect, navigate and perform various actions to several Umbraco v7 backend UI installations via my Android and iOS mobile devices I would like however to ask if Umbraco 7 backend UI officially supports Safari and Google Chrome browsers so that Umbraco backend can be used via mobile devices and tablets.
