    Umbraco themes

    Hi

I am looking to create an ecommerce website. For selling clothes to be specific.

This needs to be quick. So I have looked into themes.

Only umbraco compatable theme I can find is USkinned. Although I cannot really find a theme tailored to I want.

Has anybody used any other third party themes?

I may need to way up my options here and not use umbraco at all :-(

any advice would be very helpfull.

    Thanks

    Hi Naveed

Yes, because of Umbraco's flexibility, the implementation isn't nailed down, which makes it difficult for a forest of themes to grow around it..,

.,, so yes uSkinned tries to say if your site is 'like this' then here are some themes..

have you had a look at Merchello ecommerce plugin for Umbraco?

    https://our.umbraco.com/projects/collaboration/merchello/ https://merchello.com/

This comes with 'theming' and has a starter example site called Bazaar which is based on Bootstrap...

    https://github.com/Merchello/Merchello.Bazaar/tree/master/src/Merchello.Web.UI/App_Plugins/Merchello.Bazaar/Themes/Sandstone-3

which means it would probably be straightforward to use this as a starting point, and purchase a relevant Bootstrap e-commerce theme, and tweak it into the above files...

    regards

    Marc

Will give that a go first and see how it may work with these uskinned themes, before i dish out some money on a theme
