I'm currently in looking into ways of making multi language website. I've decided to generally follow this method that I found on the documention section of the site.
The problem being though, I want to be able to detect which language is available for each page. For example if the About Us page has a Spanish and French root node, but the Careers section only has a Spanish page. and then present a language navigation to switch to the available language, much like this site.

I've initially looked into relations but honestly not getting too far with that and I read that with bi-directional relations it will cause a database miss. Could someone please help me out in regards to this ?
