    Remove External index

    Hello,

    we want to get rid of External index set. When I erase ExternalIndexSet, ExternalIndexer and ExternalSearcher from the Examine configuration I got the following error:

    Unable to load default search provider

    How can I change default search provider or is it even possible?

    I'm not sure you can delete the External Indexset.

    Can I ask why you want to delete it?

    We're not using it at all. Is this a way to change the default search provider?

    Ok, I've found a solution to my problem.

    In the ExamineSettings.config file on ExamineSearchProviders section there is an attribute to set default search provider:

      <ExamineSearchProviders defaultProvider="CustomSearcher">

    Don't know how I missed this but hope it helps if someone will encounter this issue.
