    AWS hosting setup SSL

    Hello Our Community

    I need AWS guru help.

I'm planning to move a quite big site ti AWS server and my first question is - how to move or create SSL on AWS server?

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

The cheapest (free) simplest way is to download and use LetsEncrypt. It's brilliant and instant.

It's a really easy to use command line tool that will handle all the IIS work for you.

    Hi Alex,

    There's a few windows clients here. https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/

GUI Option (community option is free or professional/enterprise, you need to pay for) https://github.com/webprofusion/certify

    If you're after command line: https://github.com/PKISharp/win-acme Docs - https://github.com/PKISharp/win-acme/wiki

I've used it to try it out but I haven't used it in a production environment yet. It was fairly straightforward to get a certificate, but you'll need to register before it grants you one.

It's the same one I listed earlier (https://github.com/webprofusion/certify).
