    content editor info

I'm in the process of setting up document types. I was wondering if it's possible to add extra information for the content editors like a label with explanation for a field. As it's a rather extensive document type, I was thinking of adding a wireframe image with a marked area. that would indicate to the content editor which part of the page can be edited via the current tab.

    Hi Ruben,

For adding extra information for content-editors, take a look at the Editor Notes package...

    https://our.umbraco.com/packages/backoffice-extensions/editor-notes-v8-aka-ueditornotes/

For other inspiration, also take a look at Janae Cram's article: "From the Friendliest CMS to the Friendliest Backoffice"...

    Cheers,
    - Lee

Thank you for the links Lee. That looks like what I need. I'll dive into that article.
