    Possible to make inherited composition property required?

    Umbraco CMS version 7.13

    Problem: I have a composition document type with a property that is optional. A document type which inherits this composition needs the property to be required.

    Is this possible to do? Or is there a fairly simple workaround? If I create the property again in the document type that inherits, there will be an exception thrown I believe.

    Hi Rasmus,

    This is not possible. Inherited composition property cannot be altered.
