I am currently working on upgrading from 4.0.3 to 6.x. So I made a copy of my working 4.0.3 website and its database and have been trying to upgrade the copy. Everything was fine until I realized that instead of using the new database in the web config of the copy of the website, I let the upgrade occur on the original database. The site seems to be working fine, but clicking any nodes on the back office brings up this error:
I can't copy the to-be-upgraded database in place of the original because I have already tried upgrade on the this so it isn't in the original version as umbraco has upgraded it already.
I know I'm stupid for not having a backup database. Please help.
