    Importing Media from v6.2.5 to v7.2.1

    Hello,

    I have a large site with lots of media and a media tree with several nodes in a v6.2.5 site and I want to import this into a new v7 site. Is there a way of doing this please? I have tried uSync but it kept erroring out because I assume the old GUIDs are not compatible with the new database structure. I have copied and pasted the actual files into the Media folder in the Umbraco but I need the Media structure in Umbraco back office.

    Perhaps you can give Courier a spin? http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2014/11/19/courier-for-umbraco-7 - However notice that this is a commerical add-on developed and maintained by HQ - So it's not free like the CMS.

    Can't remember if it is possible to use CMSImport as well - Also commercial though http://soetemansoftware.nl/cmsimport
