    Link picker in richtext editor throws error when clicking on folder

    Hi all,

    Hopefully just a quick question, I am trying to see if there is a known workaround for the following:

    In the media folder I have folders and files:

    Folder A

    --->File A

    Folder B

    --->File B

    If you are in a rich text editor and try and insert an link to a media item (using the 'Insert / Edit Link') button and click on "Folder A" or "Folder B" then a 404 error occurs. If you click on the expand icon then this works as expected, however I was hoping there was some kind of work around to stop this happening?

    Hi Steven

    What version of Umbraco do you experience this on?

    It's not possible to link to a folder in the media section from the Rich text editor but you should be able to click on them without this error happening though...

    Hi Jan,

    Thanks for the reply, I've tried this on the site we're developing and a clean install running one of the starter packs, they are both on 4.7. Hopefully it should be easy to replicate, I'd have thought that clicking on a folder would expand the folder or behave in the same way as the "Insert image" link

    Cheers,

    Steve
