Having some problems with a site which prevents certain nodes from be sorted. When viewing the sort dialog the sort order of some elements are duplicated...two nodes with sort order 1.
I am able to sort certain nodes but others save with no errors but the changes are not applied.
I know there were some issues on previous versions of Umbraco that should be fixed now according to codeplex. The site is running 4.7.
Just a follow up to my post. I republished the parent node/children and the sort order was corrected and I was able to sort again. Still not certain why it happens but I am guessing a database timeout or un-logged error of some sort causing the sort process to terminate part way through the process, leaving some sort orders updated and not others.
