    Question about the reasons for how things are done in Umbraco

    Hi,

    I am new to Umbraco and I am watching the videos and experimenting with default websites.  I am confused about the whole "Document Types" thing. 

    What I am confused about is why we add more than one field to a document type, as when we go to use the Document Type, we add them field at a time to the template, and not "Document Type" at a time.

    Can someone please explain why the Document Types have more than one field?
