    Problems with desktop media uploader

    Hi there

    I have recently upgraded my laptop and have been trying to download the desktop media uploader direct from my umbraco media tab but with no luck. My old laptop downloaded it with no problems... it is the same type of laptop as my new one and uses windows 7 as does my new one.  When I click install in loads the installation on AIR and then tries the next stage but just stops and the 'Try Again' tab lights up.

    Any ideas what could be wrong?

    Hi Cat - welcome to the community :)

    Is there any chance you might have some kind of antivirus program turned on that perhaps disallows you to install adobe air?

    Otherwise you can perhaps try to get the package here and install it in the developer section - http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/desktop-media-uploader
