Multiple multilingual sites under 1 umbraco

I've come across many posts with issues similar to mine but not quite. So I have this structure in one umbraco installation.

    - Content
    - SiteA
    - EN
    - My content nodes...
    - FR
    - My content nodes...
    - SiteB
    - EN
    - My content nodes...
    - FR
    - My content nodes...

To make this work, I have 2 IIS websites SiteA.local and SiteB.local that both use the same folder. Then I manage hostnames in Umbraco.

    Example with SiteA

    • So I have on my "Site" node
      Domain: SiteA.local
      Language: French
    • On my EN node
      Domain: SiteA.local/en
      Language: English
    • On my FR node
      Domain: SiteA.local/fr
      Language: French
Then I have the same thing on SiteB. This works fine. But now my problem is that my Dictionary items always show up in French. This is because my "Site" node is set to French, but I cannot leave the Language unassigned, the Umbraco CMS UI prevents it.
If I don't have the hostnames managed at the "Site" level, my 2nd site never shows up, SiteB.local serves SiteA.
How should I be using the hostnames managing to make this smooth?
    Thanks!

There is information and an untested (at least by me) fix in here : http://umbraco.codeplex.com/workitem/23342

Yes, thanks Jeroen, I hear there is a known patch circulating? If you have it close to hand can you send it to me at sebastienricher *at* gmail dot com?

    Much appreciated!
