I'm new with Umbraco and now using Umbraco 4.7 with IIS 7. My root content node look like this
Content
+Introduction
+News
+News type 1
+ 1st news
+ 2nd news
+News type 2
+Contact us
In the News node, I want to allow multiple users from different companies to come and register their own news
My questions is:
- How to restrict that one company only see and edit the News node with their news only (other nodes like Contact us, Introduction and news from others companies are hidden)
Anyone who know a solution or link that related to my question please kindly help me.
go to the Users-section and create in the Useres-Tree a new user for each company. Next you can change the global permissions for the existing User types or you can create a new user type. In User permissions you can set the permissions in detail for every user and every node!

Hi,
go to the Users-section and create in the Useres-Tree a new user for each company. Next you can change the global permissions for the existing User types or you can create a new user type. In User permissions you can set the permissions in detail for every user and every node!
