First I should explain, I have never used Umbraco before and I don't know .NET at all. I am a PHP developer!!!
I have been thrown in at the deep end to try and fix some bugs after the developer working on the project went AWOL!
The site has a Members area and an option to edit profile. When making changes and submitting, the form submits OK but when the page reloads with the "Profile updated sucessfully!" message, all the form fields are then blank.
If I reload, the data is there again, so I'm guessing it's just a data retrieval problem when the posted page loads.

After "edit profile" form shows empty

Could you perhaps paste in how the form looks like and what code is used? Currently it's a bit hard to see what goes wrong if we can't see the code.
