    Open Umbraco from Webmatrix loads site not admin

    New to Umbraco!

    From Webmatrix I click the Umbraco CMS 5 url and the brower open site in preview. Yesterday it went straight to admin login. How do I switch/load site admin?

    Hi Andrew,

    If you're using Umbraco 5, well... it's not advised.  Umbraco 5 was ditched a couple of months ago, so you're best installing the latest version of 4, which currently is v4.8.

    Regarding admin, this can be accessed at your-url/umbraco/, i.e. just append '/umbraco/' to the website and it should load the CMS log-in.

    Webmatrix gives you a stand-alone instance of IIS Express I think, on a random port number, so it'll be something like http://localhost:27623/ for your site URL and http://localhost:27623/umbraco/ for your admin.

    Thanks, just found out 5 has gone! Have switched to version 4.8

    Added /umbraco/ as you suggested and it worked.
