    Can we copy media folders?

    Hello,

    Right-clicking on a media folder shows the following options in my backoffice:

    -Create
    -Move
    -Delete
    -Sort
    -Reload nodes
    -Courrier

    I'm looking for copy, really like I have with regular content nodes? Am I missing something?

    My client wants to copy a folder for archiving purposes, maybe it's a bad idea alltogether and I should advise against. What do you think?

    Hi,

    Copy isn't available on media, I'm not entirely sure if there's a reason or if it was just never done.

    However there is a package that does just that, adds a Copy command to media items:   http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/attackmonkey-media-copy

    Might be worth starting a feature request on codeplex if you want to see this in the core
