I am being "thrown in the deep end" on a project for a client that currently uses Umbraco. I am a .NET developer who has never used Umbraco before.
My main question is.. are there any documents around that I can read to get up to speed properly on things like Document types, and how they relate to master pages? I guess my main issue that I'm coming up against at the moment is: I can't see where data from a page (via the document type) is actually referenced in a template (bear in mind, I could just be overlooking something very easy since I haven't touched Umbraco before).
I would prefer non-video documentation so I can read it wherever I may be. I can't seem to find the specific sort of documentation I am after. I do apologise if it is somewhere blatantly obvious.
