Adapt image upload to crop image
Hey All,

I have a very clear idea (in my head at least!) how I want my image uploader to work on my news items.
- When adding a news item I was the user to upload an image
- that image needs to be exactly 900 by 400 for my home page design
- I would like to crop to be handled during the upload process and crops made available to user to select
Is this currently possible with a mixture of all the related packages?

Hi Stephen

I think that you should have a look at the CropUp package, which can create various crops from the uploaded images - check it out here: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/eksponent-cropup

In conjunction with DAMP I think you should be able to make some awesome stuff for your news items. You can find DAMP here http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/digibiz-advanced-media-picker
