    Re-size an image

    since when i upload an image in my media folder, the height and width of an image automatically displayed..how can i edit the size of my image. im using Umbraco V3...

    Doug has a fantastic package called Imagegen, it nearly always finds its way into my projects:

    i unzip d folder but can locate the installation file..file is like the one below

    Hi Vadz,

    just call me Brendan, bit less informal :)

    The file you downloaded is a package, you can keep the package zipped and in the umbraco developer scetion you should see a section to install the package.

    Doug has put a lot of time into the documentation for imagegen to help you out if you need it. If you get stuck with  anything just ask.

    Hi,

    You shouldn't need to unzip the file, just goto the Developer section of Umbraco, then Packages, Install Package and upload the zip there.

    You shouldn't need to create anything - it should look like this screenshot.  What are you seeing?

    I have never really worked with Umbraco 3, so don;t know if it supported packages.

    You might have to implement a custom solution, or go with something like ASP.Net Image Resizer:
