MNTP on root node causes 'endless loop'

    Hi all,

I'm having some issues using the Multi-Node Tree Picker datatype on one of the sites (Umbraco version 6.0.4) I'm building at the moment. On the root node (the Site node), I have a Multi-Node Tree Picker with the following settings:

Which works as it should :-) However, when I create a new site, I'm unable to access the site node and/or publish it because the MNTP is causing some kind of "endless loop" (I think it's because it keeps searching for a startnode which is not there)

When I change the datatype from the MNTP to a label, publish the Site node and switch the datatype back from label to MNTP, it's all good, because the startnode is actually there.

Shouldn't the Multi-Node Tree Picker tell me that [No start node is found] in this case? :-)

    Thanks in advance.

    All the best,

    Bo
