    How to patch my installation

    Hi

I have a quick question - just to make sure I do things right :-)

I have a site running in 4.5.2 and I got the security patch for that version. The patch contains 4 items:
    umbraco.dll
    umbraco.pdb
    umbraco.webservices.dll
    umbraco.webservices.pdb

In the 4.5.2 version there isen´t any umbraco.webservices.dll in the standard. So what do I do with that file ind the patch. Do I install it or not?

And what about the .pdb files. What are they? should they be installed to?

As you can see I have no idea what im doing, so I hope you can help :-)

    /Kate

Sorry, maybe I should have mentioned that the patch im taking about is this one:

    Hey Kate,

You can just copy over the umbraco.dll file.

    Thanks Rich

Just to be sure: I don´t need the umbraco.webservices.dll at all then?

And another question. I have an umbraco running on version 4.11.6 but I cant find any patch for it. Is it because it dont need it or ?
