link to 2 diffrents domains

I have a site and I made a copy of it to get it in english.
So this is what I got so fare
Danish site: www.mysite.dk
- subpages
English site: www.mysite.dk/uk

On my mastertemplate I have the logo with a link and when I click it I always retur to www.mysite.dk

What I want is to get the link on the logo to return to www.mysite.dk when i'm on the danish site and www.mysite.dk/uk when i'm on the english site. But how do I do that?

I hope you understand what I mean :-)

Hi Kate,

The way you could do it is to add this into your master tempate.

Cutlass Corp

The slash indicates a relative path in relation to the domain, So when you are on www.mysite.dk the logo will link to that and when you are on www.mysite.dk/uk i will link to the frontpage of that.

May I ask if you have setup the hostnames for your sites, in managed hostnames, if not I think you should take a look at this video: umbraco.com/.../running-multiple-sites (see the episode about: Structure, domains and languages.)

I hope this makes some kind of sense

/Dennis

Thanks Dennis

I'll have a look at the video, but right now I can not log in to umbraco.com. :-)

My html is the same as your example, so that is not the problem. I think I will get the answer when I watch the video :-)

Okay Kate,

I just tried to log in to umbraco.com, and I don´t have any problems with logging in.

Maybe you should try again.

Hi Kate,

I know this is an old post, but, I just want to know, if you find a solution to the issue with the multilanguage site, trying to get the logo return to the specific language frontpage.

Looking forward to hear if you find a solution.

/Dennis

Hi Dennis

I've watched the video now, but unfortunately I can not get it to work.
I think it's in Manage Hostnames I doing something wrong.

In the video http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/umbraco-fundamentals/running-multiple-sites/structure,-domains-and-languages/TVPlayer around the minut 4.22 is where Per Ploug explains about Manage Hostnames.

This is what I got so fare:

I think it is the DNS that I haven't setup right at the momentand I have no idea how I do this.

I use UnoEuro as my webhotel.
If you have any idea on how I can get the dns settings right, please do not hesitate to tell :-)
