in V6, MultiNodeTreePicker DataType let the user in content page re-arrange the order (with drag and drop) then save and publish. All change was immediatly avalaible in the published site.
In V7, the drag & drop reorder work, but after a "Save & Publish", the change are not saved in the DB. If I refresh de page, the order reset. We need to delete and add again in the good order to solve this.
Log it as an issue on http://issues.umbraco.org/, that sounds like a bug. If you log it there, it'll be much more likely to get looked at and fixed than posting here.
If you re-order, and then add an extra item, does it remember the order?
