    Services.Memberservice not available

    Per this documentation http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Reference/Management-v6/Services/MemberService

    I should be able to create a service inside my Surfacecontroller to query my members, but i don't have access to the service. 

    I'm using a Umbraco version 6.1.6. 

    If this service aren't available in this version, how would I interact with my Umbraco members?

    BTW. yes i am referencing Umbraco.Core.dll. Yes i have added the correct using statements.

    Hi Jan,

    What are you trying to do with members in the surface controller.  It might be that we can do it another way?

    GetById(int id) would have been nice.
    I'm using new Member(int id) but i'm not sure how the behavior will be if a member doesn't exist with the given id.
