    Migrating Up - Razor Errors

Hi guys, I'm kind of new to Umbraco. My company uses it and the administrator that used to do everything of course is no longer available.

Anyhow, we're running umbraco v 4.7.1 right now and I'm ugrading I think to 7.

Hi Dirt and welcome to our :)

If you're under the proces of upgrading this very old Umbraco site to Umbraco 7 think it might be a good idea to read this blogpost from one who has done it www.blix.co/blog/2014/6/5/follow-the-path-upgrading-umbraco-from-v4-to-v7.aspx

And also make sure to read through both these links if you have not done so already https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/Upgrading/

And once you're on v6 you also need to read the specific guidelines on going from 6 to 7, which you can find here https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/Upgrading/v7-upgrade

Ok, so when that is said...what is the current context of the error you're seeing? Is it happening after you have done an upgrade step or have you not started the upgrade yet but it just happened all of the sudden?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    /Jan
