    forums and mysql

    Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask, but i didn't know where else.

What do i do for forums, if i am running on a mySQL host? I haven't been able to find any instructions on how to get uForums to work on mySQL, and i can't really see any other forums packages.

So which options do i have (if any)?

Does uForum not work with MySQL??

If not I would take the code and make the mods required to get it to run on MySQL. This must be easier that writing a forum from scratch.

Maybe you could customise YetAnotherForum as described here (http://forum.yetanotherforum.net/yaf_postst9869_Changing-MSSQL-database-to-MySQL.aspx), but that seems even more work!

Yea it seems nothing works on mySQL. I guess i should just switch to MSSQL.

Hoping someone has a solution that supports mySQL though.
