Adding properties to the -generic properties tab

    Hi All,

So i have just downloaded a new umbraco instance (v 74.1) and i can see that the interface where you add new doc types has changed a bit.

All looks good but is there no longer a way to add properties to the heneric properties tab? I used to add things like umbracoNaviHide etc. but cant see where i can do this now.

Can this be done or have you got a create a new tab?

    Cheers Paul

    Hi Paul,

There have been a few posts on this already, so you're not the only one to stumble on this change. UmbHQ took the decision to make the Generic Properties tab non-editable, so as you guessed, the umbracoNaviHide needs to be added to a new tab.

    Hi Phill,

Ah I thought that's what has happened I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed anything obvious with the new interface.

I guess this calls for a new navigation tab on the master doc type along with the SEO tab. 😄

    Thanks for clarifying the change.
