How are folks dealing with multiple logical content areas, like having a blog, an article section, and a bunch of content pages. Ideally, I'd like to be able to create all content using LiveWriter.

Do you set up different user accounts for each area and assign each account a different channel?

Seems like this would work well in Livewriter as different categories for the areas, and then use tags as...well.. tags.
