    does this work with 4.5.x?

    hi

    not sure whether this has been asked before - could not see any evidence.

    does this package install/run successfully on umbraco 4.5.x?

    In this wiki you can read about testing packages for 4.5.x http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/packaging/umbraco-45-compatibility and here you can see, which packages have already been tested: http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/packaging/umbraco-45-compatibility/umbraco-45-package-testing

    In the last page the bit.ly url shortener has been marked as OK. So it should be compatible and working
