    Auto GeoCode

    I cant seem to get the AutoCode functionality to work, is there anything special that i need to do to get that functionality to work?

    Here are my config settings

    <config autoGeoCodeEnabled="1" autoGeoCodeDocumentTypeAliases="Dealer" autoGeoCodeAddressAliases="dealerAddress1;dealerZip" autoGeoCodeLocationAlias="dealerLocation">

    I have uploaded the config file, and my understanding is that I should be able to hit save, and it will automatically fill in the "dealerLocation" property, however that doesn't seem to be the case.

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

    Could you give me a sample value for:

    dealerAddress1 and dealerZip ?

    I figured it out, I think it was a combination of a couple of things.

     1) it looks like it took a couple of minutes for the new config file to take affect

     2) some of the addresses that I imported didn't have a full zip code, so it wasn't able to find an address.

     

    It is however working perfectly now.

    Great Sean,

    However there is a small bug when using autogeocode, you won't be able to manage the google maps api keys from the datatype ui but will have to adjust the xml file manually (that's why the autogeocode stuff is commented by default)
