    Newsletter Studio - Umbraco 7.6.5

    Hi,

We just upgraded to Umbraco 7.6.5 and the Subject, Sender name and Sender e-mail aren't being saved. Something is going wrong client side because the reponse from the WebApi is correct. But the value is not being visualized and/or saved.

I've reproduced the issue with a clean project on umbraco cloud.

    Thanks

The fields Subject, Sender name and e-mail are blank

    Hi!

Sorry for the issues and thanks for letting me know!

This has not been tested in Umbraco Cloud but I'll have a look at it and get back to you.

I can also reproduce it on a local installation. So it's not Umbraco Cloud specific I think.

    Hi again!

It was a breaking change in the core (maxChars on Textboxes) that introduced the issue.

Is has been fixed in 2.1.9: https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/newsletter-studio/

If you have already installed the package you just need to replace the newsletterstudio.dll-file.

    Cheers!

Hmm! I have the same issue.

I accidentally made a post about this before I found this one, so disregard that one.

Anyhow... the files that you get from the link u showed is 2.1.8? But the link text says 2.1.9...

And the I tried to replace that DLL but still getting the same error.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Yes it is! Thanks!

It was the download on the umbraco page which was faulty :)

    Thanks again!
