It worked when I first installed it but since then I have installed other packages (non-blog related) and have added a number of posts and aesthetic styling changes so didn't ideally want to unistall / re-install.
Is there no way to debug the function that should be firing when the post is created.
The only way I can think is to get the blog source code, and use response.write at key points to get a better idea of what is happenin, then re-compile the dll and put it in my site.
I'm having a similar issue. Everything was working fine, I then had to deploy to a live site (copy the whole site folder and copy the db to a new one) and the auto-create of DateFolder's ceased.
Date folders not created (v2.0.26)
Hi,
I have seen similar posts eslewhere but none of the suggested solution have fixed it.
There didn't seem to be anything in the umbracoLog. Can anybody suggest how to debug this?
Help please - if I can't debug this the blog is next to useless - what are the common causes?
I am using umbraco v 4.5.2 (Assembly version: 1.0.3891.20719)
Problem is also under starter kit?????
