Can't connect to my blog from WLW. I use http://localhost:9001/blog.aspx for the address and I am sure the credentials are right. The error comes from umbraco, says this: "No data found for user with username 'admin'". I tried with another user and got the same error. As a side note, blog.aspx works right, there are no problems accessing any page on the blog.
did you configure the content-channel for your users? You can do this by going to user-section -> User -> YOUR USER NAME and go to the "Content Channel" tab. Giv your channel a name and select the start nodes for Content and Media. Under Document Type you select the DocType of your Blog Posts and Description Field must be the DocType Property where the blog text is stored in.
After this it schould work.

P.S. did you include the Metablog Tags in your HTML Head?
Got it working with Office Word after adding correcting Metablog tags but still no luck with Live Writer. WLW says that it cannot detect the type of blog and shows me a UI to select the API type. I choose Metaweblog API and supply the correct url to no avail.
