Email to admin when new comment is added.

Is there anyway to have an email sent to an admin user when a new comment is added?

    Cheers,
    JV

    Hey

If you are logged in as the administrator of your website, you can right-click the top node in your content tree and select "Notifications". Whenever a user performs a selected action from the notificationslist, the administrator will recieve an email (the email from the users section).

I am logged in as the Administrator.

The top node in the Content tree doesn't have the "Notifications" option in the context menu. Only nodes under the Content node have the "Notifications" option in the context menu.

How can I add the "Notifications" option to the Content node context menu?

Another solution I was thinking would fix the "Notifications" problem was to move the Comments moderation to another node. I know it's possible to redirect the Comments in the Dashboard.config, but what kind of Document Type would I need to be able to display the Comments moderation in?

The comments are stored in a database table not as Umbraco nodes so standard Umbraco notififcations won't work.

you'd need to hack the source to do this.
