Hi there. I am very new user of 301 URL tracker and I am having some diffoculties.
I am experiencing the following problem: When I rename a page I then go to the 301 URL Tracker under Settings and when I click on the old URL I get this error
Page not found
No umbraco document matches the url 'http://..../test/test2.aspx'
umbraco tried this to match it using this xpath query'/root/*/* [@urlName = "test"]/* [@urlName = "test2"] | /root/* [@urlName = "test2"]')
This page can be replaced with a custom 404 page by adding the id of the umbraco document to show as 404 page in the /config/umbracoSettings.config file. Just add the id to the '/settings/content/errors/error404' element.
I have tired all the suggestions to other posts but i am still facing the same issue.
For e.g I have a URL http://www.testdomain.com/test/test2.aspx and i rename my page from test2 to test2-1. I can see in the tracker that the URL is saved and in the database but when I am typing in the browser the old URL I am not redirected to the new one but instead I get the above error. What can I do to fix this please? Should it work like that?
Furthermore, I cannot see 301 URL tracker in the properties tab of a page. Again I ve tried all the suggested solutions but still cannot see it.
I am using umbraco 4.5.2 and 301 URL tracker 1.3.
I persume this version is compatible with umbraco 4.5.2 and i was wondering if any other available version is more suitable.

This page is intentionally left ugly ;-)

Hi Gpal
If you go to the settings section and try to add a custom mapping...can you do that or do you get a yellow screen?
